One of the main reasons a baby gets tired is because he/she has had a long day. They may have been seeing many new faces, colours, smelling new smells and maybe even crawling around the place (if they can crawl yet) but not every day is the same. It's very important to place them in the crib while they're awake, so they learn how to fall asleep themselves.
